About Family Generations Network

Who We Are

Hi, I’m Tom, founder of Family Generations Network. I was inspired to organize the Family Generations Expo to help other adult children and caregivers after my own personal family experience. I was a corporate marketing director when my mom had a stroke. On her road to recovery, I became her advocate in trying to navigate the complex world of handling and caring for the needs of a senior.

My family faced many of the same questions and decisions that others and their loved ones are experiencing. From looking for suitable in-home care to finding a safe assisted living community, from getting medical equipment to scheduling physical therapy, from searching for pain relief alternatives to reviewing Medicare supplement plans, from helping manage finances to estate planning and much more. I had to quickly educate myself and I learned so much on my own during the five years I helped her before she passed away.

What We Do

I’ve met others who are faced with the same situation with a parent or loved one as I was in. I recognized I can help them by bringing companies, service providers, government agencies and non-profit organizations all together in one place at the same time. They provide a wealth of useful information about what services and resources are available to serve the needs of older adults and caregivers. We’ve organized the Family Generations Expo to help support seniors and their adult children. This free event for attendees features exhibitors, educational seminars, health screenings, giveaways and more.

How We Help

We connect seniors and their family members, boomers and caregivers to community resources, companies, products and services to support them in making informed decisions and help them live their best life. It is my hope that my mom’s legacy will continue to live on in knowing others will benefit by attending the Family Generations Expo.
